Following the tradition of many Disney favorites, The Lion King is overflowing with exotic music, costumes and dance for people of all ages.  This Tony-award winning masterpiece of theatre first premiered at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis in 1997 and it has been stunning audiences ever since. 

The Lion King tells the story of Simba, young lion heir struggling to reclaim a throne that is rightfully his.  After the death of his father, Simba is exiled from his home by the treacherous uncle responsible for his father’s murder. Fortunately, on his travels Simba finds love and meets friends who help him confront his father’s murderer and finally become the king he was fated to be.
