Info:
Jane Fonda, Academy award winning actor, writer, producer and political activist, has long been criticized by the American public for her political position and behavior during the Vietnam War. Hate her or love her, Fonda's power in the world of show business as well as the world of civil rights, cannot be denied. Born the daughter of actor, Henry Fonda, it can be said that the opinionated young lady was always destined for acting. She has starred in several comedies including Walk on The Wild Side, for which she won a Golden Globe, Barefoot in the Park, Barbarella, Fun With Dick and Jane, The China Syndrome and several others. Throughout her film career in the 1960s, Fonda also engaged in political activities, unapologetically expressing her disgust at the behavior of the Nixon Administration as well as the soldiers involved.
