 New York Jets
2007 Recap
The New York Jets who play in the AFC East division had a disappointing season finishing 4-12 and only winning three games at home at Giants Stadium
and only one on the road. New York Jets ticket sales still did well averaging approximately 77,000 fans each game.

After losses to the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens in the first two games of the season, the New York Jets prevailed against the rival Miami Dolphins. Leon Washington’s 98-yard kickoff return in the second quarter sparked a string of scores bringing the New York Jets to a 31-13 lead. Although the Miami Dolphins brought themselves within three points, the time winded down and their failed on-side kick sealed the game for the New York Jets. The New York Jets went on to lose six games in a row.

Overtime became a theme of the season occurring in the win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then again in the final game of the season where the New York Jets kicked and rushed their way against the Kansas City Chiefs. Mike Nugent kicked two field goals to win in overtime after his first one was negated due to a holding penalty. This win brought their season record to 4-12 tying with the Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oakland Raiders.
