2007 Recap:

The New Orleans Saints came into the 2007 season as the NFC South Division champions, coming off a memorable and franchise-best season in 2006 sending the team to the NFC Championship game. Head Coach Sean Payton took the team on an impressive ride during his first year as head coach and planned to lead the team to the title in his sophomore year.

The season started off disappointing as the New Orleans Saints lost their first four games – by a lot. In the first three games, the Saints lost by a total of 65 points having their biggest point deficit against the Indianapolis Colts in the opening game of the season. The fourth loss, which was against the Carolina Panthers, proved to be a nail biter as Panthers kicker John Kasay pegged a 53-yarder as time expired.

The Saints got their act together and won the following four games. In a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Drew Brees threw for a season-high 445 yards to nine different receivers. Of course, you can’t talk about the New Orleans Saints without mentioning Reggie Bush, the lightning fast running back who rushed for 581 yards this season and snatched the ball 73 times. Bush was the leading rusher in every game the Saints won except for the final three wins when he was sidelined due to a shin injury.

The team will prove to show great promise in 2008. If you want to be part of the family and feel the love of New Orleans Saints football, purchase your tickets now!
