The Patriots were once considered the underdogs in every game they played in, things have since changed after 4 Super Bowl appearances and 3 Championships in an 8 year span.

The New England Patriots play at Gillette stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts. The New England Patriots pro football team is one of four teams in the Eastern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL).

Professional football arrived in New England on November 16, 1959. The team was originally called the Boston Patriots. In 1970 the team settled in Foxborough after a decade of playing in five different sites, it was then renamed the New England Patriots but was later relocated to new Gillette stadium in 2001. In 1996 a young Pats team made an appearance in the Super Bowl vs. the Green Bay Packers but ultimately lost in a shootout 35-21.  This was only the beginning of what would eventually become a dynasty as the Patriots went on to win 3 Super Bowls in 2001, 2003 and 2004.
