2007 Recap:

Miami Dolphins’ ticket sales saw a decrease in 2007 due to the continuous losing streak. Dolphin Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins which play in the AFC East, was rarely packed as fans watched the team fall to 0-13.  In the15th week of the 2007 season, the Miami Dolphins saw their first, and only, win against the Baltimore Ravens in overtime finishing 16-22 in front of a thankful and exuberant crowd at Dolphin Stadium. The team went on to lose their final two games of the 2007 season sparking a change in the Miami Dolphins franchise management.

After a disappointing season finishing with a record of 1-15, the Miami Dolphins franchise has already seen changes since its final regular season game of 2007. On December 27th, 2007, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcels signed a four-contract becoming the Miami Dolphins’ Executive Vice President of Football Operations. Since Parcel’s inception, he has fired general manager Randy Mueller and replaced him with Jeff Ireland. Parcels and Ireland also fired Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron after just one season in the position on January 3rd, 2008 along with all but two of Cameron’s coaching staff.

With the addition of Bill Parcels and a new coaching staff, the 2008 football season will prove to be more successful.  Promising young talent such as Lorenzo Booker, John Beck, and Ted Ginn, Jr. will make Miami Dolphins tickets be in high demand once again as the team begins a new dynasty in 2008.
