The team was headed by hall of fame Coach Tom Landry. Landry guided the Cowboys to their first Super Bowl win in 1971 and then again in 1977. The Cowboys added Super Bowl Championships in 1992, 1993, and 1995. The Cowboys have a rich history of great players, including Roger Staubach, Bob Hayes, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irving and Troy Aikman, all of which are in the Hall of Fame. The Cowboys have grow in popularity not just in Dallas, but nationwide. Quarterback Tony Romo will again lead the offense along with Julius Jones and Marion Barber at running back. Wide receivers Terrell Owens and Terry Glennand, along with tight end Jason Witten will again be Romo’s main targets. Dallas is sure to contend for dominance in the National League again this year.
