The Cavs are always strong with superstar King James. In a complex trade in February, Cleveland dealt Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden, along with two others to the Chicago Bulls for Ben Wallace and Joe Smith. The Cavs weren’t done as they also picked up Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West. Along with Lebron James the Cavaliers ended the 2007-2008 season with a 45-37 record and second in the Central Division behind the Detroit Pistons. During the 2007-2008 season, Lebron was excellent all around, averaging 30 points per game, nearly 8 rebounds and 7 assists per game. Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the second leading scorer on the team, averaging 14 points and pulling down just over 9 rebounds a night. Sharpshooter Daniel “Boobie” Gibson added just over 10 points a night while shooting an amazing 44% from the three point line. The general manager of the team is former Cavalier and Duke University legend Danny Ferry. Coached by Mike Brown, the Cavs are looking to bring home an NBA Championship for the fans of Cleveland. Come and see King James and this high octane team battle the best of the NBA. You’re guaranteed to see a great show of talent. |
