Australian children’s band, The Wiggles got their start playing at pre-schools and childcare centers. The group soon began touring and making CDs earning them widespread popularity in Australia and eventually the US. Since then, The Wiggles have scored a deal with Walt Disney and have their own show on the Disney Channel and in Australia on Foxtel's Playhouse Disney channel. Though The Wiggles have achieved international success, they have changed very little since their early days. They continue to make children laugh and learn with characters like Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, The Chef, Vanessa the Dancer, Wally the Magician, Officer Beaples, and Magdalena the Mermaid. |
