Nickelback began creating music back in 1996 when the group consisted of musicians Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger Ryan Peake and Brandon Kroeger. B. Kroeger eventually left the group and was replaced with drummer Daniel Adair.  Hesher and Curb were their first albums and debuted without rave reviews. In 2000, Nickelback released The State, which was certified gold and their name slowly started getting out into the public. One year later, Silver Side Up was released and the single How You Remind Me became the Billboard Hot 100 #1 single of the year for 2002, a huge feat in the music industry. The singles Too Bad and Never Again also went to #1 on the charts making this album a success. The Long Road was Nickelback’s next album released in 2003 and it was very successful but nothing prepared the group for the success they would have on their fifth studio album. All the Right Reasons was certified eight times platinum in the U.S. and has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide. It has been by far the highest-selling album of their discography and has etched a place for the group in music culture as a top rock band. Five singles off the album have been in the U.S. Hot 100 top 20. In 2008, Nickelback released their follow-up album titled Dark Horse, which has done very well.
