George Benson Info:
A talented musician since the age of 3, George Benson has cultivated an international fan base. Benson began his career playing straight-ahead instrumental jazz with organist Jack McDuff and at the age of 21 the two recorded their first album, The New Boss Guitar. In his 40 year career, Benson has created a great deal of memorable jazz-bop music with a rhythm and blues feel. His music allowed people to have fun and let loose; something that set him apart from many jazz musicians of his time. |
