He has written about such issues as his drug and alcohol addictions, his love for Beatle’s George Harrison’s wife, and even the death of his child.

In 2005, he released his 14th album that deals with another aspect of his life, Fatherhood. In 2006, Clapton was awarded with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (as a member of Cream.) After decades of success, Clapton began another series of concerts throughout 11 cities in the United States in 2010.
