He has been in some of the best bands of the 60’s such as, Cream, The Yardbirds, and Derek and The Dominos. He is called one of the greatest guitar players of all time. His music is best described as bluesy rock mixed with a little love ballad on the side. In 1992, he performed on MTV Unplugged. He released the performance and it was his biggest selling record ever. Clapton will give you one thing in his music and that is complete honesty. He has written about such issues as his heroin addiction, his love for Beatles George Harrison wife, and his death of his child. Clapton is still releasing music. In 2005, he released his 14th album that deals with another aspect of his life, Fatherhood. Eric Clapton still continues to tour, he is actually on tour in Europe for the next couple of months.
