He was destined to be a song writer; his parents are Carly Simon and James Taylor. He was never forced by his parents to be a song writer or a musician. It was actually Ben’s decision to go into the music scene. Ben Taylor says his music style is more like his dad’s and that Carly Simon was the one who taught him how to write music. His album, Another Run Around the Sun, has been getting really great reviews. He has promoted it by performing on the Today Show, Howard Stern, and Fox Teen Choice Awards. He is currently taking a break from recording and is touring certain venues this spring/summer. |
