Voted ‘most popular’ and most ‘most humorous’ in his high school year book, Cedric the entertainer has been making people laugh for years. He won several comedy contests in stand-up before making his first appearance on television in 1992 on It’s Showtime at the Appolo. Since he has appeared on several shows including HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, and his own sitcom playing Steve Harvey’s friend on The Steve Harvey Show. After seeing his television shows, America fell in love with Cedric the Entertainer and he began acting in movies. He has appeared in Big Momma's House, Dr. Dolittle 2, Barbershop, Barbershop 2, Serving Sara, Johnson Family Vacation, Intolerable Cruelty, Man of the House, and Be Cool, all very popular and hilarious movies. Despite his prominent career in acting, his stand-up remains just as popular as it was when he first began his career.
